Trouble at Biggin Hill as award-winning company calls in administrators

Odessa printing founders owing hundreds of thousands of pounds

Alarm bells have been ringing with several ICSM Credit members who supply the ‘multi-award-winning’ Odessa Print Group during the last few weeks over concerns about late payments.

The Biggin Hill company called in the administrators on October 18th following trading difficulties.

However, a new outfit called Odessa Global Limited was incorporated at Companies House on October 1st, while Odessa Print Group continued to trade and writing out new orders from suppliers. The same names are involved in both enterprises namely Robert Charles and Laurence Matthews.

ICSM Credit understands several firms have been left high and dry by the turn of events with one known supplier seeing hundreds of thousands of pounds in invoices potentially left unpaid.

The administrators are Tom Shaw and Simon Thomas of Moorfields Advisory Limited. ICSM credit also understands that Odessa Global Limited are in potential negotiations to purchase the defunct company.
