Car transporter firm with Baltic connections goes bust

It was a Christmas nobody wanted at Eulos.eu in Eulos.eu when administrators were called in two days before Christmas.

Chris Tindall writing for Motor Transport noted: “The company, which provided transport to vehicle manufacturers, fleet operators and retailers in the UK and on the continent, had been trading since 2009. It held an O-licence for 25 lorries and 25 trailers and had an operating centre in Sheerness docks.”

He said the firm appointed administrators from FRP Advisory on 23 December but when Motor Transport tried to contact the firm their calls were not answered.

Its website said it also had offices in Lithuania and Northampton and ran a fleet of Euro-5 and 6 trucks he said. Intriguingly he said according to official records, Eulos.EU sole director Christopher Martins incorporated a new business, A2B Car Transport, in October 2019.

The firms states on its website: “The Northampton team along with our modern fleet of Car Carrier Transporters serves our UK based clients with domestic deliveries throughout the UK and exports to Western Europe, with particular focus on the UK finished vehicle industry.

From the geographic centre of Europe, our office in Vilnius Lithuania currently serves our clients throughout Europe it also provides valuable back office support for the UK team.

Our team have over 30 years experience in Finished Vehicle Logistics and General Haulage throughout Europe, moving vehicles & goods from countries such as Spain to The Netherlands, mainland Europe to the UK, domestic deliveries inside the UK.”
