Print Show returns as the industry picks up the pieces following the last two years of Covid, lockdowns, downturns and a damaged economy

The last two years have been catastrophic for several industry sectors with some of the worst hit being high street retail, traditional department stores and companies like sign-makers, marketeers, shop fitters and printers who rely on their brochures, sales literature and POP graphics and displays.

One good piece of news is the return of the printing industry’s annual UK trade show is set to return to the NEC this September. With the relaxing of Covid-19 rules by the Government as the Omicron variant is being seen as a case of bad flu more businesses are planning ahead as confidence grows.

The Print Show has been abandoned for two years due to the issues of social distancing and more to the point a lack of confidence amongst potential exhibitors and visitors alike. In Exhibition News – the website for the industry – confidence is clearly flooding back as trade shows and exhibitions and industry events are popping up on the 2022 calendar every day.

The Print Show at the NEC runs from September 20-22, while its non-rival rival Sign and Digital is from March 22-24, and Printwear and Promotion Live is from April 24-26, Packaging Innovations is May 25-26, and the one logistic managers love – the Commercial Vehicle Show is May 24-26.
