Another one bites the dust: KJB Printing calls in the administrators

Print Week: KJB printing of Cannock is latest industry casualty

The KJB directors set up another firm with a similar name after the print firm hit the buffers.

Print Week have reported that the Cannock based printing outfit KJB Print have gone into administration.

Writing in the magazine’s website Richard Stuart-Turner said: “On Monday (28 October), Andrew Poxon and Conrad Beighton of Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery in Manchester were appointed joint administrators of KJB UK Ltd and Creative Digital Printing Solutions Ltd, the wide-format division established by KJB when it purchased the assets and trading name of Creative Digital Printing, which went into administration in early 2017.”

The journalist said the administrators had told Print Week: “The joint administrators are currently in dialogue with the companies’ stakeholders to agree an optimum realisation and recovery strategy for the benefit of all creditors.”

In 2018 the defunct firm acquired Walsall company WM Print. Richard Stuart-Turner reported: “KJB directors Egerton, Lisa Simmonds and Jonathon Woods established a new company – KJB Asset Holdings Ltd – on 22 August this year, according to Companies House.”
